There will be a directional arrow with coordinates on your display that always points you in the right direction.
The key to leveling fast is efficiency, and Zygor's leveling guide has it nailed down. You won't waste time on any unnecessary steps, and you won't lose track of where you are or what you're doing.
Installing the in-game guide is simple. There's a short video that shows you how to get it integrated with the game. Don't worry, it's not difficult.
